How to replace your HP Computers power supply:

  • Open your computer case (2-4 screws hold on the case panel to allow access to inside of computer)
  • Remove the 4 screws on the backside of your computer, which hold the power supply in
  • Remove old power supply, noting which plugs go where
  • Insert replacement power supply exactly as the old unit was installed replacing the 4 screws and all power cables as connected with the old unit. It is ok to have extra connectors and wires that are unused (this power supply comes with a 20 pin motheroard connector AND a 4 pin connector, both are used on some systems, while only the 20 pin is used on others... simply ignore the extra, un-needed wires).
