The YX039-PCS-CEL is a directional dual-band outdoor signal antenna. The YX039-PCS-CEL comes standard with the YX610-PCS-CEL Large Home and Office Dual Band Wireless Cell Phone Signal Booster ProPack, and is available as an antenna upgrade for the YX500/510 Series Home and Office Cell Phone Signal Boosters.

This outdoor antenna is designed to be pointed directly at your nearest cell phone tower. The antenna should be mounted as high as possible, away from metal, and where a cell phone signal can be received. The antenna operates with signals in both the 850 MHz Cellular and the 1900 MHz PCS bands.

Improved Signal Quality
The YX039 consist of 2 separate panels. The YX021-CEL and the YX023-PCS. Together, along with additional hardware, these 2 directional outdoor antennas cover both the 800 Mhz and 1900 Mhz frequencies.

The outdoor omni-directional antenna that comes with the YX500 and YX510 series boosters provides 6 dBi of Gain. The YX039 increases Gain to 8 dBi for 800 Mhz bands and 13 dBi for 1900 Mhz bands. Those increases in Gain should provide up to 2 additional bars of signal strength when properly installed. Note, that you have to start with a signal where you install the antenna. If no signal is available, the antennas can not create it. The YX039 will capture more of the signal than you can with your cell phone alone or the omni-directional antenna, which allows for more bars being boosted and better, more stable reception.

The mounting mast is not included. The 2 flat panel antennas that make up the YX039 can be mounted on any pole, such as a piece of 1 inch PVC. Wi-Ex offers a J-Pole Antenna mount for roof installations. See the YX014 in Accessories.

The YX039-PCS-CEL dual-band antenna system consists of two directional panel antennas, one for the Cellular band (850 MHz) and one for the PCS band (1900 MHz). An antenna combiner is included to combine the signals from the two antennas into one coax for connection to the Wi-Ex Base Unit. Two 18” coaxial jumpers are included to connect each panel antenna to the Combiner.
